Brad Garoon is the creator and co-host of Never Did It, a podcast premised on the idea that no one's film education is ever finished. Every critic, every cinephile, every host of a movie podcast carries an embarrassing list of canonical works and personal blind spots they've never gotten around to. The show treats those gaps as the whole point, using one viewer's omissions as a way into the larger history of the medium. An episode spent inside a single year becomes a core sample of what cinema was doing at that moment; a season on animation or women directors or British film becomes an argument about which histories get told and which get quietly left off the syllabus.

Never Did It is a running conversation about how film history actually gets built, who decides what counts, what falls through, and what's worth recovering. That instinct toward recovery carries into his work as a collector, where a focus on obscure animation and Walter Matthau fandom is its own form of canon-building.

Brad lives with his wife, dog, cat, and ever-growing physical media collection in Jersey City.
